This Privacy Policy explains how Themis AI LTD ("Themis", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit getthemis.ai (the "Site") or download our handbook.

1. Who we are

Themis AI LTD is a company registered in Israel, with its registered office at P.O. Box 62011, Tel Aviv, Israel. Themis is the data controller for personal data collected through the Site. This policy covers our website, forms and marketing. It does not cover data processed inside a customer's own environment when they use the Themis product; that is governed by the customer agreement.

2. What we collect

When you request our handbook or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your first and last name, work email address, company, job title, and any optional information you choose to share (such as where your developers run coding agents today, or what you tell us about your company). If you opt in, we also record your marketing preference. We also collect basic technical information, such as your browser type and anonymized request metadata, to protect the Site from abuse.

Information from advertising platforms: if you submit a lead form on LinkedIn or Facebook/Instagram, that platform shares the details you entered (such as your name, work email, company and job title) with us.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to send you the handbook and related materials you request, to respond to enquiries, and to follow up once about your request (our legitimate interest in business-to-business communication; you can object at any time). We send occasional marketing emails only where you have opted in. We also use limited technical data to keep the Site secure and to understand aggregate interest in our content. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Legal basis

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for optional marketing emails, and for placing non-essential cookies); legitimate interests (to respond to your requests, to secure the Site, and to develop our business); and contract (where we enter into an agreement with you or your company).

5. Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site — such as hosting, email delivery, scheduling tools, and advertising platforms (LinkedIn and Meta) for lead forms you submit there — under contracts that limit their use of your data. We may also disclose information where required by law. Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in Israel and the United States; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep lead and contact details for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. Where you have opted in to marketing, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for downloadable materials — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for the Site to function, including protecting forms against abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a copy of your data. Israeli residents have rights under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@getthemis.ai. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
